Our organisation

In recent years much has happened on the market, but certainly also at our company. Because of the cooperation between Van der Helm and Hudig our activities and markets have increased. Our organisation has become more complex, but we have been working hard to improve this! The aim we had in mind during this process was to create one organisation, which presents our activities as clearly as possible to our environment. The most important change as a result of this is that we do not offer our range of services anymore under different company names as from 1 January 2010, but that we will present ourselves under one name from now on (Van der Helm – Hudig BV).    

Van der Helm – Hudig BV consist of three pillars: Rotterdam, Moerdijk and Hoofddorp.  

In Rotterdam  you can find all our activities related to sea freight; they have been incorporated in 4 disciplines (General Forwarding, NVOCC (Consolidations),  Project/Expo/ Oil & Gas and  Customs Service)  

In Moerdijk our logistical centre is located, where storage and shipping take place under one roof. With a total surface area of almost 40,000 m2, almost all activities for warehousing and logistics take place here.  

Finally, Hoofddorp, our new branch, where all activities related to air freight take place.
